What the hell does “dis-ambiguous nature of the narrative” mean? At least #SnowCrash is under @JoeCornishNow and he ‘gets’ geeks

Cornish is going to have his hands full with writing and directing this Stephenson’s book as many critics think a successful adaptation is impossible because of the dis-ambiguous nature of the narrative. While the book is certainly a sci-fi action novel, there are lofty ideas presented by Stephenson that are metaphysical in nature and thus will be difficult to translate to the silver screen.

Wondering if there’s scope for a miniature R2D2 and C-3PO segment a-la Adam&Joe. Hmmm…

“What the hell does ‘dis-ambiguous nature of the narrative’ mean?”

Good question – other than “an incoherent journalist”, I have no idea.

    My first 2 thoughts:

    1. Ye Gods, casting this will be a nightmare
    2. Making a Metaverse which doesn’t look silly and / or dated is a very tall order indeed
