I hadn’t heard from Gene in a while, then some folks (ie: Geoff) on a mailing list we’re both on started asking questions, and then this arrived as a result of a phone call.

Gene [insert comic phrase here] Saunders, rest in peace.

Damn. The world will be more boring without him.

    Sheesh…never met the man, but i looked forward to communications with him…emails, etc. I think he was responsible for onestop inside Sun for a while…what a pleasure to work with him…
    - btw has this been verified…..
