I love the “No shit Sherlock” statement. I’m rather tired of the political correctness ranting. Today, one can’t say “Dude, you’re so totally killer awesome” without having the authorities knocking at your door. Not that one should use the phrase “Dude, you’re so totally killer awesome”.
Of course, problems happen when it *does* give them certain rights. Rather a lot was written about such situations, this week.
Also, there are so many multiple standards depending on who takes offence at whom, that the whole thing really does become meaningless, “except when it isn’t”.
